Why We Maintain an Expired List

Promo codes in idle tycoon games rotate quickly. A string that worked during launch week may fail silently a month later. Archiving expired Desire Empire codes prevents confusion when players find old Reddit threads or outdated YouTube descriptions.

As of July 2026, Desire Empire has not launched on Steam, so no expired codes exist yet. This page will populate after codes cycle out of the active list on our codes hub.

How Codes Move From Active to Expired

We mark a code expired when: (1) in-game redemption returns an invalid or expired message, (2) the publisher announces an end date that passed, or (3) rewards no longer grant despite successful UI acceptance - a rare bug we note separately.

Each archived entry includes the original reward, active dates if known, and source link. We do not delete history when codes die; transparency beats pretending old promotions never happened.

Common Expired Code Patterns

Expect these categories after launch:

• Launch celebration codes - 48 - 2 hour windows common.
• Milestone codes - tied to wishlist or concurrent player goals.
• Holiday events - Valentine's, Halloween, or Nutaku crossover weeks.
• Compensation codes - maintenance apologies with short expiry.

None of these exist for Desire Empire yet. Avoid sites listing "expired" codes pre-launch - they are fabricated.

What to Do With an Expired Code

Check the active codes hub for replacements. Developers sometimes reissue similar rewards under new strings during anniversaries.
